Confirmation is a two year faith education program for mainly seventh and eighth grade students. The program entails learning, fellowship, worship and service. The first year the focus is on a survey of the Bible, both the Old and New Testament. The second year concentrates on the important aspects of faith outlined in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. We discuss the Ten Commandments, the Apostle’s Creed, the Lord’s Prayer and the Sacraments. The students also gather in small groups with Adult guides for sharing and support. The Confirmation celebration service is held every year on Reformation Sunday.
