Topic: Called by Name.  The Call of Your Authentic Self

Scripture
“….Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine”
                          Isaiah 43:1

Message
There may be nothing that depletes our spirits more and creates a barrier to full expression of our sacred attributes than being inauthentic.  We are called to our deepest identity.  Our authentic self is who God visualized us to be when He created us; our true inherent divine nature with individual talents, interests, and qualities unlike anyone else’s.  Sometimes as women, we stash away parts of ourselves.  We focus on caring for and pleasing others.  We succumb to the cultural riptides that carry us further away from our true selves.

Bearing witness to your authentic self can be the most joyous and fulfilling spiritual path you will ever follow.

Food for Thought

          Who am I really

         What do I love

What are my own needs and desires

Who or what is really in power in my life

Prayer

Oh God,

Deliver me to my passion

Deliver me to my brilliance

Deliver me to my intelligence

Deliver me to my depth

Deliver me to my nobility

Deliver me to my beauty

Deliver me to my power to heal

Deliver me to You
