Noisy Offering Challenge

This past Sunday, when the children came up for the Children’s Message, I told them I would match their “Noisy Offering” for the foreseeable future. For those who might not be aware, each time the kids come up for the Children’s Message, they drop their offering into a little white bucket. I want to thank the kids (and their parents) for faithfully bringing their offerings. All of the money the children give supports our children’s ministry programs. My matching offering will go into our General Fund. I don’t have to tell you that things are more expensive just to keep the lights on, the building heated, and the water running. In addition, the building’s insurance went up considerably after we had to fix the damage caused by the hail storm in 2022. Most recently, the interest rate on our mortgage went up.

Will you join me in matching the kid’s Noisy Offering?

Each week, we will publish the amount given by our kids on the previous Sunday. If you would like to match their offering, you can either write a check (let’s round up or down to the closest dollar amount to make it easier for the counters) or you can give using the VANCO. We have created a new tile on DMLC’s VANCO site, which you can use anytime. Hopefully, we will be able to track the amount given this way and report back to the congregation on how much has been raised.
