We invite all the school children to bring their backpacks to Church during the 10:30AM Service for a special blessing before they head back to school!
We will also bless our quilts before they get sent around the world to offer comfort and support to those in need.
After the 10:30AM Service we invite our congregation to join us for a Special Congregational Meeting regarding the vacant lot sale.
August 27th
Please join in on the lunch making fun by volunteering to assemble 70 lunches after the 5:00pm church service. Sign-up will be in the gathering space at Church if you can help!

Deliberately shunning category and genre, Garrett's music features memorable melodies, psychedelic textures, and virtuosic improvisations. Not quite rock, not quite jazz, his compositions harken back to the fusion explorations of Return to Forever as well as songwriters like Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell with a forward-looking approach drawing on alternative and psychedelic rock acts like Radiohead and Khruangbin. A passion for world music infuses sounds from the Amazon, Caribbean, and Middle East.
Garrett has been a strong presence in the Milwaukee music scene since 2022, adding his versatile playing to original acts such as Match Stick, Craig Baumann & the Story, Mitch Shiner’s Latin Vibes, and Day Tvvo in addition to his own original projects.”
September 7th
Join us on Sunday, September 7th for God's Work. Our Hands. Sunday!!
This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America — one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.
We will have Church Services at 9:00AM and 10:30AM.
We will be hosting a one day food drive supporting the Oconomowoc Food Pantry! Please bring non perishable food items, personal hygiene items or monetary donations with you to church. Check out their website for ideas: https://oconomowocfoodpantry.org/#donate
In between services, we'll complete a service project assembling our Personal Care and Baby Kits that we collected items for earlier this year. These kits will then get sent to Lutheran World Relief who helps send them around the world to those most in need.
Kids 4k through 6th grade also please join us for Rally Sunday! We’ll be kicking off the Sunday School year during the 10:30AM Service with singing, Sunday School and more!
Finally, we’ll have a Dartball Demo down in Fellowship Hall!
September 10th
In September, DMLC will be supporting this important ministry by providing milk, desserts, and helping hands to serve a meal at the Hope Center.
**All donations need to be at Church on Wednesday, September 10th by 2:00 PM.**
Donation Items needed:
- 9 x 13 Cakes or Brownies (6 needed)
- Cookies (6 dozen needed)
- White milk gallons (5 needed)
- Chocolate milk gallons (5 needed)
If you’re able to help serve dinner at the Hope Center on September 10th, please sign-up and arrive by 5:00 PM at the Hope Center on 101 West Broadway, Waukesha, WI
7 volunteers or more are needed.
