Something Grrrrreat Is Coming!
This summer, wilderness guides will take kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS will show them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

We are collecting items to help our VBS be awesome! Most items are used for decor only. A few are needed as soon as possible so we can begin creating some cool things to add to our wild surroundings! There are tags for each item needed on the tree in the Gathering Space or you can call the office to see what’s still needed. If you have any of these items we can use, just label them with your name and drop them off in our cooler in the church entrance.

Camp Firelight VBS 2024
Another Vacation Bible School adventure for kids has come and gone! A week of Summer Camp themed stories, songs, snacks, science, crafts and games; all teaching us that we can always trust in God.
Throughout the week kids (38) and volunteers (23) collected items to donate to another summer camp - Lutherdale. These items will help kids at Lutherdale to have the best experiences they can and we were glad to help!
Our week ended, as always, with a potluck jamboree to celebrate and have just a little more time together. A lucky few were chosen to pie their Camp counselors. Vacation Bible School 2023
Vacation Bible School 2023, Twists & Turns, was an amazing experience with lots of learning and fun! 39 children gathered to worship and discover that Jesus is always with us even when life throws us a curve ball. They experienced stories in skits, discussions in Bible Study, songs at Worship Rally, games at Recreation, creativity in Crafts, and fun treats in Snacks.
23 volunteers made this week happen planning, decorating, cooking, rehearsing, ironing, photography, teaching and leading. Not enough can be said to thank them for all they do for our kids! Our mission project this year was to collect games and toys for Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee and the Ronald McDonald House. We more than doubled our goal with 126 items!
To celebrate this fantastic week, families gathered for a potluck dinner and leaders turned the tables (a little “twist and turn”) on the kids. Instead of the kids sliming, pie-ing, or ice watering the leaders, the leaders started a chalk dust battle and it was so much fun!
