Storms

It has been a week of intense weather. Tuesday night was particularly severe, reminiscent of the hailstorms we experienced in 2022. With the heavy rainfall, we are seeing rampant flooding, saturated lawns, and tree debris throughout the area.

In the midst of these storms, we are often reminded of the majesty and power of God, highlighting His greatness in contrast to our own smallness. On Easter Sunday, Astronaut Victor Glover of Artemis II shared a similar perspective:

“As we are so far from earth and looking back on the beauty of creation… maybe the distance we are from you makes you think we’re doing something special… as we go into Easter Sunday… this is an opportunity for us to remember where we are, who we are, and that we’ve got to get through this together.”
