Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday

Lent begins next week! 

We will decorate the church for Lent immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, February 15th. 

MAKE PLANS TO BE AT OUR SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH. There will be games, face painting, and prizes for the kids. You can also see the available raffle baskets on the tables in the Gathering Space. All the money collected from the raffle baskets helps support our VBS!

Ash Wednesday is Wednesday, February 18th. There will be two services at Dr. Martin Luther Church, offering the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion, on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. All are welcome. 

Let us approach Lent with these words from Psalm 51: 

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,

  and put a new and right spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me away from your presence,

  and do not take your holy spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,

  and sustain in me a willing spirit.
