Bring Your Bible to Church Day

Following our special service on Sunday, November 2nd—when we presented our 3rd-graders with their new Bibles and baptized a new member—I want to remind us of the promises we make, particularly those related to nurturing faith. Part of the baptismal promise involves bringing our children to the Word of God and placing the Holy Scriptures in their hands to nurture them in faith and prayer.

To celebrate the importance of the Bible in our lives and continue this focus, I am inviting everyone to participate in “Bring Your Bible to Church Day.”

Please bring your personal Bible to church on Wednesday, November 12th, and Sunday, November 16th, for an all-church Bible study. We will take time during the sermon to walk through the different parts and structure of the Bible together.
